Union Farm Equipment, Inc. is much more than just an Outdoor Power Equipment Retailer. We realize that at some point all equipment will need service. Whether it is routine maintenance, warranty work or repair work you can count on our award winning service department to keep your equipment running smoothly.

Maintenance

The key to long, trouble free service is regular maintenance. Union Farm Equipment, Inc. has devised a number of programs to help our customers’ machines perform at their peak. We have an annual service plan for compact tractors that can be done at your house or job site. We also run the We Care Winter Care program in the spring and fall. We Care Winter Care is an annual maintenance program for lawn mowers and lawn tractors in the spring and generators and snowblowers in the fall. We will pick up your equipment; fully service the machine and return it to your home for a flat rate. Please call our Service Department for more details.

Awards and Training

We have been awarded the New Holland President’s Award for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction. This award is only given to the top ten percent (10%) of all New Holland Dealers in the country. Additionally, we have been certified as a New Holland Service Excellence dealer for the last 6 years. Kubota Tractor Corporation has chosen us to be a VIP Technical Certified Dealer, the highest accolade currently available from Kubota.

We have worked extremely hard to achieve this level of expertise and we will continue to do whatever is needed: every year we send technicians to service schools and we regularly have factory-sponsored video training in house. We attend Walker, Toro, Honda, Kohler, Kubota and New Holland schools each year so we can be up to date on the latest technologies.

Lawn and Garden/ Small Engine Service

Union Farm Equipment, Inc. has a dedicated Small Engine Service Department. Our shop is fully equipped to handle all repairs on string trimmers, lawn mowers, lawn tractors and commercial mowing equipment. We are an authorized service center for Briggs and Stratton, Honda, Kohler, Tecumseh, and Echo engines. Every year we attend manufacturers schools for certification. We are certified to perform warranty work on most outdoor power equipment, regardless of where it was purchased.

We have always considered commercial operators to be the backbone of our business. We try to repair all commercial mowers within 24 hours. Many times we will be able to repair a commercial mower while you wait.

Antique Ford Tractors

The old Fords are still earning their keep and do require service from time to time. Our Service Department is well versed with Fords back to the 9N. It is common to see our technicians working on 50 to 60 year old tractors. We feel that it is important to not only service what we sell, but also to maintain the heritage of these older tractors. If your older Ford needs more attention than you are able to provide why not give our Service Department a call and set up an appointment.

Facilities

Our state of the art shop is well equipped with everything to maintain your equipment in peak form. It is equipped with overhead hoists, pressure washer, and welding and cutting equipment. We have service manuals and tools for tractors and equipment back to 1939. Whatever your equipment may need our technicians have the resources to repair it.

Mobile Tractor Service

It is impractical and inefficient to haul a tractor to our shop for routine maintenance. Therefore, we have our mobile service van go to the tractors. This van is fully equipped to perform routine maintenance and repairs on compact tractors. If you have been putting off your tractor’s maintenance because you have no way to get it to our shop, why not try a mobile service call.

Both Kubota and New Holland require a 50-hour service on new tractors for warranty. Union Farm Equipment, Inc. will send the service van out to perform this service. We believe that the 50 hour service is so important that within 50 miles of the shop there is no charge for mileage or labor for the 50-hour service (the customer only pays for fluids and filters). Beyond the 50-mile radius, we will split the transportation costs and still absorb the labor cost. Providing the 50-hour service gives us an opportunity to fully check the tractor and look for any potential problems.

Tires

Union Farm Equipment, Inc. stocks tires for most late model and antique tractors. We can change tires for most brands of Compact and utility tractors. We have been loading tires with Rim Guard for several years. Rim Guard is a non-corrosive, nontoxic, and biodegradable fluid to fill tires. This product weighs 11 pounds per gallon and is much safer than the traditional calcium chloride solution used in the past.

Warranty

Union Farm Equipment, Inc. is an authorized warranty repair center for everything we sell. We will perform warranty work on any product regardless of where the equipment was purchased. Our technicians are trained to restore your equipment to peak operating condition.

Most warranties are done at the shop and do not cover transportation. Union Farm Equipment, Inc. understands that most customers do not have the means to transport their tractor; therefore we will provide transportation for warranty work free of charge (limited to tractors and excavators purchased at Union Farm Equipment, Inc.).

Delivery

We have a fleet of delivery vehicles equipped to handle all the products we sell. We have rollback trucks to move excavators and tractors. We have trailers for smaller lawn and garden equipment. We even have one truck equipped with a hoist to move heavy tires and implements and another pickup with a power tailgate for generators and snowblowers.
